What in the heck did I just watch? I dont think they even know what autism actually looks like... should have taken some pointers on acting on the spectrum from DiCaprio (what's eating Gilbert grape). Anyway, the only thing that attracted me to this film was maddie Ziegler because I saw her on dance moms. This was bad. Dont bother. Waste of time and money.

I got bored one day and decided to figure out what Munro Chambers has been doing acting wise ever since finishing degrassi the canadian teen drama series. I ended up binging 3 or 4 movies ft him and this was one of them. I thoroughly enjoyed it to bits! Yes its low budget and at times cringey but it's still a feel good simple story. I respect that the movie doesnt try to be anything more than what it can afford to be. (I believe the budget was 60k canadian). The music is great, and the overall story and film style takes me back to a time when films cared about the story and viewer experience more than CGI (I'm looking at you Jupiter Ascending, they pushed the release date back to work in more cgi only to be trash anyway because there was no story). If your looking for a wholesome film that reminds you of old school film, watch this. 👍🏻❤👍🏻❤
