Just completed reading Vijayant at Kargil, and could not manage to keep a dry eye! The book is a compelling read detailing the birth, childhood and the great adulthood life of Captain Vijayant Thapar. It gives us a glimpse into who Vijayant was, as a son, a brother, a cousin, a friend and how he could have been maybe as a husband and father as well. It also offers a profound and inspiring look at his parents' unwavering dedication and sacrifice towards their children. It is a must-read for those who seek inspiration from real-life bravery. Thank you to the Thapars for allowing us to peep into their lives, and understanding their son, the war hero.
