I am totally against a man forcing himself on a woman if she said NO. But in this movie, I feel James is getting railroaded. Olivia was a PT, she knew what was about to happen. And Holly/Kate could have pulled away and ran off. He was drunk and wouldn’t have wasted his time w her. But she allowed it to take place. And Sophie didn’t want to hear the story in college. She played the perfect little blind girl. And again, she doesn’t really inquire about the affair. And now she wants to stand up and play the poor victim. Again, if either woman had legitimately said No, then it’s rape and he needs to go to jail. But this movie IMO truly has pained James as a tapestry monster. Should he have cheated absolutely not. But I don’t see it as rape in any of the women
