3 stars… I know … hear me out… The movie was good. I totally got invested into the characters. Primarily Riley and his sis and mom… The acting was impeccable…. But .. I’m such a coward when it comes to scary movies and I didn’t get scared once. Not ONCE! And considering the delicate matter I would have expected to have gotten scare at least once or twice but nah… just didn’t do it for me. Now…. To me ..if a genre fails to meet its expectation as a genre then it’s an automatic 2 star deduction in my book. So… overall… it was a great movie . Very entertaining. The characters are loveable and I was here for the ending. That’s all
