From 1964-1971 I was busy having 5 babies, so I really did not see "Dark Shadows: The Beginning." When I first "found" this great TV show it was just about to end it's run, but I found it to be a wonderfully fascinating Gothic-type show and was so sorry to see it end. It is now, January 2022 and I have found it again and I am watching "the Beginning" which takes place before Barnabas Collins arrives. When this part is over, I will continue to the end of the series. I LOVE IT! There are "cons" to this old series, as it was badly filmed, but the characters, even though they fit their parts really well, they often seemed to not know their lines. Also, the camera was a joke. You could often see the shadow of the overhead boom, people who were not supposed to be in a scene ducking out of sight, and general bad effects, with loud noises picked up in the background that were not supposed to be there. Of course, this was done in black and white, but I really don't mind that in this case, as I believe it actually adds to the mystery and eeriness of the show. I found this old show on "TUBI".

"Lucifer" is a GREAT series. I wish it would never end. It has everything and almost anything anyone might want in a tv serial. It has adventure, romance, comedy, adult themes and language but not to any extreme, a bit of off-beat religion as it is based on the perceived images conjured up by Christians about the Devil, and a lot of quirky characters whose actors do a bang-up job in their respective parts. I am waiting for the 6th season, which I understand, sadly, is the last season. BUT I WANT MORE!

Loved this story line and the actors are all just perfect for the characters they play. Well worth your time to watch. I have just recently discovered Daredevil, but I am almost to the end of season 3. I really hope there will be a season 4 and more. I am currently into the Marvel Netflix Super Hero shows. I have watched Arrow, the Iron Fist, Gotham, Flash, etc. I also watched Dexter, and Lucifer. I grew up in the 40's and 50's when comic books were only 10 cents each and no sales tax, and I would spend my entire week's allowance (50cents) on buying comic books and especially the super hero kind. Just to let you know my demographic, I am female, age 82, and married. PLEASE, keep these exciting super hero stories coming.
