I could not put the series down. It captured my attention very quickly. The complexity of the plot kept you wanting to read more. Having a good memory helps you to grasp what era is being played out. It jumps back and forth from the present but soon can be in a different time with the same players or a new one thrown in. I was so bummed when I read the last page in the fourth book, but soon found out the story will continue. I’m looking forward to the growth of this series.
