Kind of choppy and rushed. It was like a lot of snippets of time put together. Some really nice scenes especially in the beginning but then they skip forward in time and switch around a lot so it’s hard to get into it. The whole story between he and Josephine is like 10 clips of the timeline of their relationship. Like they meet, war scenes, they have a date, more battling, suddenly they getting married, ware scene, suddenly things actually aren’t good between them, and so on. Feels like you’re watching a movie on fast forward and stopping every now and then to see what’s going on. I think it would have better if they just tried to cover less and just tell a story instead of just skipping ahead. I personally didn’t know that much about napoleon or Josephine before watching so maybe if you already know a lot this would be ok because you can kind of fill in the blanks. I’m

Ugh I wanted to much to like season 2 but good lord could they drag it out anymore? I don’t mind a slower pace but they just keep having characters re-explain things we’ve already seen. Like why do I need to see something happen, then watch someone explain it again to someone else. It’s painful!! Dying for something to happen. I’ll stick it out but so far it’s pretty disappointing.
