Author very long winded and very pretentious, using so many words that most people probably don't know or use. For me it was a very slow read but hate to not finish a book so kept plodding along......

A good read. Kept me guessing until the end.

I really enjoyed this book. My mom was a nurse, I worked in a hospital in my 20's so have always enjoyed medical books. This book is somewhat depressing with the World Trade center chapter, but the author writes with compassion and humor. I highly recommend it!

I have read many of Jodi Picoult's books. This one was different with the timeline backwards. I felt the characters were real and the story absorbing. I highly recommend it.

I enjoyed the book but wasn't surprised that her husband was involved. It kept me interested. I will read more of her books.

I have never read Steel before but knew how popular she is. I liked the premise but she kept repeating things over and over like she was writing to dumb readers. I might try one of her other books and hope it's better.
