I was first introduced to this anime thanks to a commercial I saw from recent Cartoon Network Japan continuity. After digging deeper into the 'net and finding some rare clips of the English dub, I was convinced to see this is a true example of classic comedy that shows Japanese culture yet doesn't stray too far off in terms of international enjoyment. Plus, it's great to know that Tatsunoko is celebrating the series' 50th anniversary in a big way! I recommend that Discotek Media gives this show an SD on BD (Standard-Def on Blu-Ray) release soon, because United States audiences have never been able to enjoy it yet.
