I'm not the greatest fan of police series on tv as they can be very samey following the hackneyed old plots time and time again.
However (or should I say hyever), Blue Lights police drama set of 6 from BBC set in Belfast will leave you gasping.
If you thought Line of Duty or Happy Valley were good, this knocks spots off them.
While I found the first episode a little stressful to watch, I persevered with the second and became totally hooked. Episode Four is so outstandingly well written and acted, that it could stand alone as a brilliant short film. And yet episode five gets even better.
Therefore, if you have missed this remarkable set of one hour series, I can vehemently recommend catching up with it. You wont regret it.
