It's okay. I'm trying to like this series, but some things irk me. In the original book series, psychohistory put forward that individual action was largely irrelevant, that broad societal trends were what mattered. When the TV series said pretty much the exact opposite of this, it really rubbed me the wrong way. I'll continue to watch it, and I realize that one could never precisely copy the books to make a show, since the books were mostly just conversations between small numbers of individuals. But I think inverting the core idea of the original books is hard for me to ignore.
