Being a Samantha fan, I refrained from writing any negative reviews or expressing my disappointment with her previous movies, including Yashoda, despite watching it in theaters. However, I must say that Shakuntalam triggered me to write what's written below. 😬 The film's overall quality is below average and, if there were an international cringe film festival, it would undoubtedly be India's nomination 🔥. If you're curious and want to see the movie for yourself, I suggest purchasing a ticket at PVR Cyberabad and watching it until Samantha's introductory scene. 🙊 Unfortunately, the scene is poorly executed and fails to capture the audience's attention. Shakuntala's friends and Dushyant run around in circles on a poorly designed movie set, only to find her trapped in a crowd of butterflies ❤️. The miscasting of the characters is evident, especially Samantha, whose emotionless look, despite her well-made abs and biceps, is underwhelming. Man it's the same old "Raji" character straight out of "family man" series this time with makup💄. Additionally, the visual effects are disappointing and do not complement the story. In conclusion, I would recommend that if you love samantha then follow her and like her on Instagram. Don't waste 330 rupees in a pvr for a normal seat for this cringe film believing her words in promotion events. 😬
