The movie is interesting, but the plot was supposed to focus on the Navajo codetalkers during the war, and instead, it focused too much on Joe Enders and his personal struggles with PTSD. This movie had a lot of potential in highlighting the importance of the Navajo code in the war and its significance, but the movie barely mentioned it. The movie itself wasn't bad, but the plot did not match the title at all.
TLDR; too much emphasis on Nicholas Cage's character and not enough on the codetalkers. Very disappointing.
