This film lacked the magic of the first two in the series. The storyline was quite confusing and felt like too many loose ends were trying to be wrapped up too quickly.
I think the mention of Dumbledores homosexuality was unnecessary and did Dumbledores character a disservice. It took away from his air of mystery and he became the misunderstood outcast of his own story, a typical trope when it comes to gay characters.
More focus should have been placed on the magical creatures of this tale, which is why fans continue to watch this franchise and is its namesake.
