Werewolf video game stories have never gotten the respect in all it's glory this sheds huge lights on that weak spot. Cyanide and Bigben publishing did gamers a tribute by relishing what a brutal werewolf can actually do if powered up and ready to stomp enemy encampments. I would like to note I think the name Endron dropping the D makes the name Enron slick way of revenge in a video game from real life.
Well, I am gonna tell it like I think it should be here as a true video gamer. I would give the game play a 9 out of 10 for daring the impossible and there is plenty of reasons it should be given a 9. I played most of the game and it is filled with a raw unbridled suspense that draws in. Ok the video game graphics are not "Cry enginish" or totally 4K.
Cyanide is using a Nvidia GeForce GTX 960 graphics engine and variations of the graphics engine for XBOX. There could be other engines involved so I don't want to be 100% there. Anyhow the gameplay music is chilling and keeps me in the gameplay without a need to abort. Having a 9 foot werewolf is not talker than the most tallest person on record but that will suffice.
The characters that Cahal the main character who yes turns into the werewolf should of had a tweaking mechanism to adjust the physical characteristics. It is still great to play the "locked version" of Cahal throughout the game. Moving on the challenges Cahal faces are not easy and are met head on respectfully. Facing Endron's relentless personnel, soldiers, powered up mechs, strategic camera systems and other formidable sometimes overpowered foes as the story deepens. Does not wane off too much and there is plenty of promise in the land as Cahal promises a spiritual ally his allegiance. This adds to the spine tingling story against a shape shifting evil enemy called the Wyrm.
There is much to be entertained by and the story is quite a unique one that zooms in on dangerous corporations. This is done by giving warnings of the dangers of this world in a video game setting. Settle in to how the story unfolds and use some imagination with the way the graphics are displayed. Everything doesn't always have to be Bethesda inspired although (I love Bethesda games), Capcomed to death (C still love the games), Ubisoft fan made (Ubi you are truly good). There is some resident evil thing about the game going on here if you look at it closely.
Were The Apocalypse uses its own signature mark and that is ok as long it keeps the player on the hook for more. Without no individuality there would be no paying tribute to some former way or classical way games were made. Trust me this is a werewolf that can be appreciated and if you want to tweak the looks there's an option at the beginning of the game at the settings menu to do just that. So hold onto your "silver bullet" controller this is going to be a Roaring Ripping Ride!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*VirtualRelicman XBOX Game player
