I highly do not recommend. The story is half baked, full of conveniences for characters and villains. The transitioning is choppy and at times feels forced. The existence of the regular my hero cast is not needed and makes the whole film awkward. Scenes from previous movies are almost entirely re-used, including the ending fights from Two Heroes and World Heores Mission. The love story is unfulfilled and the male motive is so confusing the entire time as to what he truly wants (in a bad way). Not to mention, the fights all end with “We upped our power and therefore win.” And I quote: “If they need to see the ground, why don’t we just destroy everything?” So they proceed to nuke the area. It’s bland, and entirely uninteresting. In world heroes mission, the previous movie, they had to devise new ideas and plans to overcome their fights (and even Midoriya had to think even in the end fight his solution was in fact to simply hit harder. It wasn’t the Initial plan). I wanted to walk out of the theatre before the climax even ended, and I only stayed because I went with my wife. My wife, by the way, also he some pretty negative opinions on the movie, and she’s easy to please. Overall, save your money and watch it somewhere else for way less and the ability to turn it off without feeling bad for leaving the theatre.

I’ve had infinitely more enjoyment reading the reviews for this movie than actually watching it. When I saw the trailer in theaters with my brother he was so excited, but I immediately knew it was bound to fail just off of the weird trailer. I may be a fan but I advocate for media reaching a bar line where everyone can enjoy it even if they don’t know the source material. For the non-fans, here’s your list. It’s missing: Plot Comedy Character development Stakes Common story time-flow Satisfactory decision making and follow through Convincing acting Enticing action For the fans, here’s your list: “Catch-A-Riiiddeee!!” Specialized guns Handsome Jack??? A vault..? (No creature at the very least) Correct characterizations Siren abilities or Eridium? More than a couple vehicle scenes? Classic Psycho content? Half of a full cast of vault hunters and the dynamic they bring? Dr. Zed The weird guns like the cursed ones that yell at you or curse you out Skills or personalization? (Everything is kind of flat and similar all around) Proper pandora scenery/traveling (probably because they randomly chose everything so they couldn’t visit, I don’t know, the wildlife preserve or the oasis of 2?) Any shred of consistency that makes any sense for any single person that can think critically past a third grade level All in all, if you want a bad borderlands experience that was haphazardly thrown together, please, go play borderlands 3. At least it’s still fun and entertaining for longer than 20 minutes. As said in other reviews, if the goal was to make that game look good, they waaaayyyyyy overshot.

I am on my 6th play through of the main game, 500 hours in, and still play for hours on end. This is probably the greatest JRPG I've played of all time. The story is deep and characters are Relateable. The connections between characters and their ties to the world are drawn like a beautiful painting that you can't look away from. The main story by itself is also incredible with many heart-wrenching moments, and plot twists! The scenery is beautiful, and I love spending some in gane time just listening to the music and watching the cloud sea at work. The combat system is also genius, and although its a little Grindy, it is totally worth it. Each unique blade has its own side story that brings the lore of the world together even greater. It's a must buy for switch in my opinion, but I leave that up to you.

Lovely game that brings back childhood memories! The only 2 things I didnt like were 1: They ruined the Return to Hotel Sedgwick levels. I used to love the scary red eyed ghosts and the portals in the hallways! 2: I miss multiplayer. My best experiences were with my dad and brother when playing. Other than that, a lot of fan service, weapon upgrades, and revamps!
