Coincidence or Bias? 😒 Grand finale winner, 19 yr. old Asian girl recieves (never before) perfect score 10/10 for a less than perfectly presented desert from the judge who just happens to be 50% Malaysian [Southeast Asian descent]. 🤔 Catherine definitely showed skill throughout the competition but certainly not more than her final competitor, Simon! The point of giving "briefs" or assignments for each episode is for the judges to determine who followed instructions without sacrificing taste while maintaining beautiful display, flavors and textures. Catherine missed the brief multiple times before the finale and managed to escape being put in the Zumbo challenge! ...total BS! Not only should she have NOT won, but she should've been eliminated several episodes prior! I sincerely hope Simon is getting his just due although the $100K was stolen from him!!

I started watching this after finishing "Nailed It." Seems to me they aren't permitted to allow anyone of color to win! I didn't want to believe it and kept watching in hopes the other episodes were coincidences. I could pretty much guess who was going home...and not like I could judge the taste of the cake. I knew the choice based on the contestants. In Sugar Rush, Extra Sweet: Season 2, Made with Love, the judges made it clear that when the contestants chose to bake 2 flavors, they'd be judged on both! The feedback for the wedding cake Cyrus and Maggie made was 99% positive. They only pointed out that they ran out of time and didn't get to close in last 2 gaps between tiers. The contestants that "won" made 2 cake flavors, one the judges unanimously agreed they disliked and one they did. Soooo, how did they choose them?! I have definitely lost interest and will not continue to watch this show!! 👎🏾
