If you've read the books, this series is garbage. It feels like the writers read the Cliff Notes version and filled in anything they wanted until it barely resembles the novels. One of the reasons the novels run to about 12,000 pages is because Robert Jordan is an incredibly descriptive author. Somehow NONE of the characters, with the exception of Lan, act like they were written in the books.That's probably only because Lan is a basic fighter class until he becomes involved with Nynaeve. Perrin's MARRIED from the get go, and the town blacksmith?? Wheres the Luhans? I can imagine they may want to save actor space, but seriously, the Luhan's play a critical role in Perrin's story. Mat's dad is a drunken womanizer? What the hell? Abell also plays critical roles in Mat, Rand and Perrin's story. Tam gets seriously injured fighting ONE trolloc? He's a frigging Blademaster just like Lan is. Even rusty ONE trolloc isn't gonna do it. That's just my short list from the very FIRST episode. I could write my own book about what's wrong with this series. They should not have called it the Wheel of Time. They could have bought the rights from the Jordan family and written whatever they wanted (which they obviously did) and then called it something else.
