I'm so very sorry Mr. Koontz for this review. I've been reading Koontz for years, as most fans have. This is the first book of his that I can't give a positive review. In it, his wordsmithing is astounding as always, it's the scattered story that lacks. Tying the story together seemed strained. The end is abrupt but also contains so much information that, in my opinion alone, wasn't necessary to the story. There were other minor things that factored into my decision to call this my least favorite Koontz book.
