The opening episode was excellent and full of promise. However, as the story unfolded, it seemed to drift off course. If that first instalment had served as a pilot, it could have been outstanding, leaving plenty of intriguing questions to shape and strengthen future episodes before filming. Sadly, instead of developing with direction and purpose, the later episodes unravelled rather than unfolded, at times feeling as though they were cobbled together by autocorrect. A very disappointing journey after such a strong and confident start. Great acting shone through, highlighting a promising story, with lots of potential.
