Found this gem in a library and have now ordered it. DJ Kelly's writing is very clear and clean, straightforward with humour but her analysis of intelligence, history and events as described here is outstanding. I thought I knew most of the history here having recently moved to Buckinghamshire but this book had blown me away. It is very rare that I find it difficult to put a book down but this was read over a weekend. Intricately researched I cannot recommend this book highly enough. The sheer number of historic events and connections is amazing. Well done and thank you Miss Kelly!
