Jennifer Lawrence's performance in 'No Hard Feelings' was nuanced and masterful. The comedic value that realism adds to this film sets it apart from other films in this genre. As a woman within the 19-29+3 age range, the clever use of 'attachment issue' motifs were not lost on me and enrichened the experience. While I wasn't brought to tears, I found myself laughing while engaging in unexpected self-reflection. I feel I was tricked into watching a coming-of-age film, except with good writing and humour. This film is a new favourite of mine.
