I saw someone in the reviews wondering how Voldemort and Bellatrix could have a child because it was impossible that they could be in love. Voldemort very obviously wasn’t in love with her and bellatrix was just obsessed with him. The only reason Voldemort could have had a child was because he needed a successor or someone to revive him in case he dies.
Another thing this person said, is that Astoria is a hufflepuff because she’s a muggle lover and kind hearted. This, is so biased! If you agree with that statement, you are agreeing with the Slytherin stereotype that all Slytherins are bad or evil or cruel and that all hufflepuffs are softies or kind. Zacharias Smith was a hufflepuff and he didn’t match that exactly did he? Hufflepuffs are loyal, honest and patient not “weak” or “soft”. Draco Malfoy wasn’t bad in my opinion. Yes he bullied people and joined the death eaters but what I like is that he changed. He wasn’t truly evil. And about the “gryffindors and Slytherins should not be together”, why not? Agin this is stereotypical. I like cursed child because it breaks these stereotypes. If you think all Slytherins are bad, then that would include Albus Severus Potter and Scorpius. It shows how unexpected friendship can blossom between people, how they forgive eachother. Ron, Hermione and Harry forgave Draco and that Draco changed. This book is pretty good in my opinion
