I was hooked at page 37. Great story, superb writing, as I found myself really enjoying the words and style he uses to tell the story. As Stephen King's son he has a tough road to go down as I suspect people will compare him to his dad. Well, I am here to tell you this book kept my rapt attention like any book his dad wrote. Last year got Full Throttle not knowing who he was for my wife for Xmas and enjoyed all the short stories. Now looking for my next Joe Hill book. I read a lot (record is 90 books in 180 days), and I can usually find one thing plot wise or other wise wrong in a book. Only thing wrong was calling it a big old car when talking about the Mustang that plays a good part in the story. Yea that was it. I like how the ending leaves room for a possible sequel too.

Heart-Shaped Box: A Novel

Love it, I can't be the only one that is rooting for the bad guy to not get caught, when the writers have made you fall in love with the bad guy (aka Breaking Bad) you know you are hooked. Great cast of characters, believable scenarios where Joe gets away with everything he does while you are sitting on the edge of your seat knowing this is the time he gets caught. And then when he does get caught, they throw a twist in there you never saw coming. Every episode is better than the last one, excellent writing, acting, dialogue. I hardly ever write a TV review but this is a must watch, it did take me a few episodes to get into it.
