Lame crime drama in which even normally excellent actors fail to convince in their respective roles. The Crossroads of cop series. It looks as if the show was made on a shoestring and as if the writer had to have a conclusion in every episode, while keeping a running thread to enthrall and keep his audience in suspense. Terrible 1970s cop show reruns are a better bet - even Roger Moore in The Persuaders was less wooden.

Absolutely over convoluted storyline which, cringingly, has 'strong' females for the leads and, presumably to be 'right on' in the equality stakes. Wooden dialogue delivered by wooden acting is only surpassed by the continuity, which has in-car scenes using background images from the silent movie days... count the number of times the cops pass the same hedgerow, the same postbox, the same trees!! I had to watch it to the end to catch the 'twist'. It is so terrible that it is a cult must see!
