I am an avid K-Drama fan. I was incredibly disappointed with the cultural appropriation and out right racist tropes displayed in this drama. I know for a fact that there are Black Korean actors. I am pretty sure if they read the script they refused the role. That should have been enough to revisit the character and change how it was portrayed. The fact that everyone on the development team still thought it was a good idea to continue with the character the way it was says alot about everyone who took part in this drama. It's just incredibly disappointing 😞 😕 😔 😪 😒
