i'd confidently say that this is one of my favorite horror/thriller movies as it is very unique and somewhat realistic.
however, there's a lot that they get wrong in this one. firstly, there isn't a whole lot of Nazism in this movie. i guess this is because there isn't any black people in it but i still wish they'd explore more into the villain's racist backgrounds. they do sort of do this with it the daniel character as he wants to turn all of the villain's into the police but it's not indicated that he did this for racial reasons. if they did explore the racism in these villains it could add to their capability of violence; scariness. seems that the head villian, played by patrick stewert, isn't really interested in the racial element of neo nazi's, only that he can sell a large amount of heroine to that demographic.
secondly, a big problem with darcy is that he seems kind of bored. patrick stewart truly only shows a single emotion THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE MOVIE. even when he is, and spoiler alert, held at gunpoint. very lame and if he was more menacing and proactive then it could have been a better horror but alas the main villain was bland.
but those are my only problems, everything else was pretty damn good. the villain's just should have been more developed.
