As a practicing auto mechanic for almost a half century, (Retired since 2016) I've been waiting my entire life for a race car film to come along that didn't turn out to be a dumb love triangle, with poor direction, poor acting and insane unrealistic race scenes. Ford V Ferrari not only delivered to me the finest race car movie ever produced, it made me feel as if I were issued an all access pass to Shelby American, the Ford Motor Company and Le Mans France, to witness the greatest upset in racing history! I walked out of the movie theater 3 hours later, feeling my pockets to make sure I didn't leave a wrench behind.
