Possibly the worst Marvel film to date. The story was poor - with mostly weak main characters I. E. Monica Rambeau, Ms Marvel and Dar-Benn. None of them (inc. the Captain Marvel character), are very interesting compared to marvel characters in the past. The story was bizarre at times e.g. A planet where communication was via singing and cats eating people to try to save them. The main protagonist is fairly unknown and looked to be using the same weapon as previously used by Ronan in Guardians of the Galaxy (that weapon was destroyed - very confusing). Dar-Benn was killed far too easily by wearing both quantum bands - not much of a main villain with literally no back story in the MCU. The inclusion of Valkyrie in the film seemed very disjointed and not really connected to the main story. How is Valkyrie friends with Captain Marvel? I left the cinema feeling totally underwhelmed and disappointed as I had been looking forward to seeing the film. The last few Marvel films have been poor and this one was even worse. I rate it worse the the first Hulk film and worse than the DC ww84 film, both of which were terrible.
