Movie was ok. I think the hype build up was way too much compared to what was given to the audience at the final release. Nothing about the movie was necessarily "scary", although some parts were eery and weird; there wasn't a single "WOW that spooked me" moment throughout the entire movie. I think the plot Twists were super predictable (such as her mom being long legs accomplice, seeing as the mother was ridiculously suspicious when the detective talked to her about remembering seeing him). I liked how it showed his broken nose when he smashed his face off the table, and I thought it was kinda cool how at the end the detective murdered his wife. I thought Nicholas Cages makeup wasn't scary, it was pretty underwhelming and dumb that you could clearly see the actors face through the makeup. I thought it was lame how you knew what he looked like from the start of the movie, why wouldn't he be built up and then shown later in the film? Wouldn't that add lots more suspense? Overall a little dissapointed, I wouldn't even class this movie as a horror; much more of a thriller.
