A moving and powerful film about how friends show up for each other in new and vulnerable ways. I absolutely loved how Harper was able to articulate her deepest fears and allow Will to see her in difficult emotional moments of self realization. Im grateful Harper and Will allowed us to share in those moments even when it was heartbreaking to see the pain Harper endures with transphobic tweets or Will's regret in not protecting Harper in Texas.
How many of us have felt like we wanted to get away from people just so we could just be ourselves?
How many of us prayed as kids to end it all and not really know why we felt so different?
Harper gave voice to the pain and loneliness. But, also the hope that it isnt too late to start a journey to your truth.
