If your looking to watch a mind boggling movie that keeps you second-guessing until the end, then look no further than Fractured.
Though many critics claim that the ending can be rendered predictable, I think otherwise. As a first time watcher, I can assure you that the end will remain unpredictable because it is only when you look back rationally on the movie, do you end up noticing the stream of oddities in Rayโs story. The suspense and thrill of the movie keeps you swept up on the mystery of the film which is not solved until the end.
[Spoilers ahead]
Looking back on the movie now, some oddities in the nature of interaction between Joanne and Ray are present- that hint towards the diversion between reality and Rayโs perception of reality. The pain on Joanneโs lower back neck showcased a nice motion that lead to her demise. Such a distinction is more clearly evident once the psychiatrist, Jacobs, interferes. Making rational sense of Rayโs perception and taking the officers to the pit. Seeing Periโs blood in there made me second guess any predictions I had made against the hospital. Even so, the ending was not one that had crossed my mind! I was actually mad at the whole hospital staff through out the movie and the ending made me finally see them as the logical beings.
[Spoilers end]
Even if you donโt find the movie plot appealing, I recommend this as one thatโs worth the watch on the night your just looking for a little thrill.
