A shaking, deep, intense movie, with lots of so real dialogos and conversations that most times I felt like listening to real teens expressing themselves. If I have been very concerned about children and specially teens in the last couple of years specially after COVID 19, now I'm much more because this movie shows exactly what is going in our world today. The relationship at home with their parents, at school with their peers, Oh my god so worrying and sad because it's the reality everywhere. The most shocking scene for me was when their parents tried to find answers, excuse themselves for how they raised their kids, trying to find answers from how they were raised by their parents if like analysing that would give them the answer of his teen decision but then little by little they came to accept that they didn't do a good job as parents. Just the example of Mom and Dad realizing that his room was the safest place and they never felt like going inside to check on him, allowing him to have the control and permission to live his own life and do whatever he wanted in his room with nobody supervising him or setting the rules clear and putting limits in their own house.
I'm much more concerned now because this movie shows that parenting today is wrong, parents are confused, lost the real sense of bringing children to this world, there's no real connection between parents and kids. All of the above is what I see, read and experience everyday, not only in my little town about around the world. It's so sad to see Teens looking like zombies with their phones, not able to express themselves, lack of vocabulary, culture, background, zero interest in learning and with zero self esteem, not real life ambitions, mediocres and very shallow thinking!!! Parents are the big problem, wake up please!!!
