This is not a paid review like 99% of other reviews are. Paid 400 Rs for this movie. It was houseful. Obviously because Independence day, everyone had come out to watch something good but what they saw was a formulaic, overlong, boring piece of drama which is confused between trying to be a drama or comedy. What did I like? - the concept. But again I must say it has been taken from a viral instagram reel where a group of married men will be sitting in a restaurant with their phones on the table and depending on whose wife calls first, the person will pay the bill. Here they have tweaked the concept a little bit but have made pathetic raita out of the concept. - Nothing else in this movie is new. Pure formula *What did I not like* 1. Formula. This is another forgettable dramedy that is based on lives of filthy rich people and no one can relate to it. It's just bollywood formula of putting few known actors, all good looking, fair skinned actresses, super toned actresses whose job is just to add glamor to the movie. 2. Acting is terrrible and not convincing a5 all. All actors have acted terribly. Especially Akshay Kumar..by now he should have been ashamed of his commercializing habits. He has ruined his potential to become an actor with superificial projects like this. 3. The set up: these bollywood filmmakers sit in their fancy houses and sketch these dramas where everyone is rich, has a lavishing lifestyle, they look glamourous af, and their first world problems which 90% indians wont be able to relate to. 4. Overpriced tickets 5. Because of these big film production houses, good content films are struggling. They have made deals with cineplexes and they occupy majority of screens across India so the audience wont have a choice but to go for movies like this on holidays. 6. Fake reviews on Newspapers, twitter and youtube. All PR driven. Bot messages. Dont believe in those reviews. 7. Script: My god..just look at regional cinemas like Malayalam and tamil, how much efforts are given in their scripts and these bollywood retarded screenplay writers dont even work hard to write a decent dialogue. Terrible movie.
