We all knew any kind of remake or live action adaptation would never live up to the artistic explosion that is the original anime. I will say that there were a few small things about this show that truly urked me, but none of them had to do with the loyalty to the source material. I felt like they put all the effort possible into making fans happy. The set design got un-immersive at points, but i felt like a majority of the acting was really commendable (aside from the occasional quirky, overly comedic dialogue @thewriters). ***Big shout-out to Diana Pineda for her portrayal of Faye!!!*** But overall, I felt like the show added up better than most (if not all) of the western anime adaptations that have been getting spewed at us for the last few years. I finished this show satisfied and excited for a new season, I hope that this comment can help make that happen!
