This movie is a great watch! It gives such a harrowing perspective into the lives of sailors and naval officers caught up in the Battle of the Atlantic. Right from the start, the movie is so gripping and requires so much attention, that it almost makes me feel that the director wanted the viewer the understand the navy's content need for alertness. The director has also done a brilliant job in conveying the sense of doom, despair and exhaustion resulting from the battle. They know death is near but there's nothing they can do, nowhere they can escape and no-one to help.
