The most introspective and personal album Kendrick has released. It feels that Kendrick has under gone a lot of growth in these past 5 years and that is reflected in the content of his music in this work. Time will tell where this album ranks in comparison to his other works but I feel it’s definitely in contention with GKMC and TPAB as his best work. But if you are just looking for something to “turn up” to then there are handful of tracks for you but you would be better suited listening to GKMC or DAMN. I’m personally glad it isn’t. I’m on my second listen through and will be listening on repeat until I learn every bar. Great Job Kendrick! For reference I think this, GKMC and TPAB are 10/10s, Damn is an 8 in my book.
