I really hate to trash this because I was so hungry for a new Batman animated series. Batman Caped Crusader is a disappointment. It’s flat. The writing is not engaging and the line delivery is lifeless. I gave it two stars because I like the retro setting but the animation could use more detail. Batman usually appeals to kids and adults alike but I’m not even sure children would watch this. How did they manage to make Batman boring!
