My Review of โLEOโ
โLEO,โ directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, starts off uniquely without the usual big opening, but it quickly lost my interest. The hyena scene and Vijayโs actions are too simple and unimpressive. The main plot, centered on uncovering โLEOโsโ identity, is unbelievable and disappointing. Itโs hard to accept a story where a gang leader plans to harm his own child for business.
Vijayโs performance is commendable, especially as Parthiban, the animal-loving cafe owner. However, the characters played by Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Sarja donโt make much sense and donโt add much to the story. Their roles seem pointless and not well thought out.
While โLEOโ did well at the box office, the story and character development are lacking. The first half of the movie is engaging, but the second half suffers from weak writing and rushed flashbacks. The action sequences and cinematography are impressive in parts, but the CGI is inconsistent, and the LCU connection feels forced.
Overall, โLEOโ is a mix of good action and weak storytelling. It might be enjoyable for viewers who watches without high expectations.
