I love this book! I’ve read this almost thrice now, and all I can say is that this is an amazing book! It takes place in New York and travels to the life of a boy who just found out he is a Demi-god, At first I honestly wasn’t so sure about this, but (spoiler) once you really get into the lore of the gods and titans, and other books- it becomes a fan fav! I’ve read the other reviews (specifically the 1 star ones) and all I can say (Gen- Z tone) is- GET BETTER, most of the people who ‘hated’ this book were clearly people who have a hard time with reading (code work-stupid (No offense, I love and care for all people.)) or brats who had to read this for a school project. I as well watched the series, and it IS NOTHING like the book, the gods aren’t powerful enough to walk on two legs, the relationship with Percy and his father, Poseidon seemed plenty forced- and HOLY ZEUS, WHAT DID THEY DO TO ANNABETH, It sounds racist when you watch it, but when you see a blondie turned into a brunette, u gotta speak up. It’s a great descriptive book, so if you read this review and go- “hmmmmmm” I DARE YOU TO TAP THAT 1 STAR BUTTON AND I WILL BE AT YOUR HOME WITH THIS BOOK (P.S. Don’t call the cops I would’ve sent them on a donut chase (for freedom fighters they are awfully attached to their big chests…))

The book Is simply great! My son told me about a class project he did in ELAR about an amazing diverse explorative story- starring a 6th grade girl, Miranda as she tells us about a 1st person viewed story, about her receiving notes telling her that someone is going to save her best friend (Spooky!). A amazing story about coming of age and the art of change. It sounded to good to be true! Note: it wasn’t!
