I liked some of the artistic choices they made with how they shot it. But I hate how they acted like this story is a hilarious comedy. It's about a family driving a working class pregnant women to commit a terrible and painful suicide. It's not really the stuff of hilarity. So it felt weird that they were cracking stupid jokes all the way through. I also didn't like that they reduced Sheila's character to being a moron without the growth, and over-pitied Eric.

Not as clever as it thinks it is. Pretty drawn out.
