The film was pretty depressing, but the main reason I disliked it is because there wasn't much of a storyline. It's clear that the world as we know it is coming to an end, but we never discover the cause. There's weird stuff happening with the wildlife, ear splitting sounds, and the Internet and satellite system is out. Everyone is frightened and on edge. That just about sums it up.
