Besides the book being extremely boring, the writing is terrible. I thought these characters were supposed to be in a fantasy novel, not some trashy modern college fiction. The author has the characters talk as if they’re from the same age we are and they also say “fuck” WAY TOO OFTEN. I could’ve liked this book if the characters talked how they’re meant to, but the dialogue completely took me out of every scene.
