This is a book in a series that every girl or even boy should read. This is a book I always placed near my bed and the one I passed on to my niece and daughter. I always teach them to embrace the world with curiosity, love and bravery, just like the main character Alanna does. Wonderful work of art that conveys values of courage, will, honor and kindness. ❤️

Unless you're the type of person who enjoys mindless reading, I don't think you should read this book. The male lead is a hypocrite who claims to be a hero rescuing women and children kidnapped and molested all the time, when in fact he r*pes the female lead. The female lead, on the other hand, is dumb and has problems with her sanity. If I hadn't known better, I would have convicted that she enjoyed being targeted, stalked and sexually assaulted. Everything about this book is like an insult to readers' intelligence if taken seriously according to common standards. However, should you conceive of reading as something that doesn't require much thinking and realism doesn't matter as much, it isn't so terrible after all. It can be given a shot, given the humor element and the like, but it's not the best dark romance book I've read. To be honest, it isn't so good as it's cracked up to be.

Seriously, guys, read it. You won't regret it. After finishing The Wicked King I surfed some reviews and got to know other people's opinion that Jude is too soft and not constantly scheming and on her toes in The Queen Of Nothing. But that's entirely untrue! That she is not ruthless doesn't mean she's weak and soft. And if you read the story yourself you'll find out what a mastermind she demonstrates in the final installment. She clearly shows brilliant strategies, remains very levelheaded, adapts to her role as the High Queen and navigates politics excellently. Her negotiation with Madoc and the Court of Teeth near the end takes me aback. The book features a quota of both fighting and scheming that is adequate to me. Highly recommend reading this book guys!!!
