Over the years I’ve lost hope in superhero movies. I didn’t like anything DC released after the Dark Knight Trilogy, Marvel got stale and the character acting style became predictable. But this super man movie opened a new world for DC. It reminds me of the Batman movie from 1989, which took the quirkiness of comic books and injected good character development that created a well rounded and creative film. It wasn’t serious in the same way of the dark knight. This movie does the same. It’s great if you suspend the disbelief and instead enjoy the acting. It’s fun. I highly recommend people see this movie. I think most people that don’t like it have a hard time suspending disbelief, but to me, this is a masterpiece.
