This book is not worth reading. It has a few clever moments but little genuine feeling and no actual poetry. Collinโs seems to be searching for ways to show off his cleverness and erudition. Sadly, Collins might have searched for poetry of deep meaning but he has
always been above all, an entertainer. His influence and popularity have led American poetry down a dead end.

This exquisite show is a masterpiece- which means the characters, acting, story, general validity as a set of human dramas.
I wish it were twice as long. Here in the US we only get three seasons. Truly memorable and throws light on preNazi as well as early days of psychology and dealing with trauma.
I have now seen Season 4 and also read many of the reviews here - basically most reviewers Agree that the series is a MASTERPIECE - I have watched each season at least twice. SEason 4 takes bigger risks with the plot and characters but they work, I think. There are very dramatic developments to come - after all, we are watching the rise of the Nazis!!
But I agree with the one reviewer who noticed that there has been too little attention paid to the Communists and Sociat Democrats - maybe something of that is yet to come.
And the love/lovemaking is delightful.
