Utter, utter none sense and off its head with BBCs usual wokery approach to the retelling of history. A resounding dud

For a film that was 2hrs 38mins long it could easily of been eight minutes long for the amount of historical detail about the man that was sidetracked or even misinterpreted. Too much focus on Josephine made for tiresome viewing. And the main protagonist grunted his way to glory without a whiff of charisma one would expect from a self made emperor. Sorry Ridley but Napoleon was flat and dull, only occasional action sequences make it worth the watch. All thump and no flair
