I was recommended this by my father in law as he is a English lecturer and has read Stoner 3 times. I purchased this book as my library request was taking so long. I started reading it on my first morning after purchase, and couldn't put it down, what a inspiring read, a boy from a poor background realising he could improve his chances in life.
