Martin Meyer

The “The Reunion” was a big disappointment after his previous books. I have read and reread his first four books several times and the exceptional wit, great humour, fun and antics of the Crazy Eight had me in knots. Unfortunately, the same can’t be said about “The Reunion”. The whole narrative is just too sad and long-winding and perhaps the writer is just missing the point now. I have struggled through the book halfway and don’t think I’ll complete it.
