Id like to know what era of fanbase they chose to try and appeal to. As someone that had the original xbox and halo day one, and have played every game since, this show was very disappointing. Forward unto dawn for a non blockbuster movie years ago had better acting, visual effects, and cgi. The suits and spartan movement was nice, stand alone cgi with covenant was good, but action cgi looked like it belonged on the syfi channel. Acting was poor and the chief taking off his helmet? Sorry, this isn’t the mandaloreon, master chief isnt soft like this character portrayal is. I’ll still watch because it’s halo, it’s still a show about halo! So I’m excited, but not on the level of got, the mandeloreon, or witcher. There’s room for improvement but i always give a show 3 episodes before i truly decide.
